Acceptable Use Policy — AI Travel Planning Service

Itinara AI Inc. ("platform," "we," or "us") is committed to providing a safe, legal, and responsible AI-powered travel planning service. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs all content generated, published, transmitted, or stored through the platform. All users, developers, and businesses using the platform must comply with this Policy.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all content forms on the platform:
- Text: AI-generated travel itineraries, destination recommendations, articles, VLOG scripts, social media posts, and travel guides
- User Inputs (Prompts): Text descriptions including destinations, travel preferences, dates, budget, and interests submitted by users
- Generated Itineraries: Day-by-day travel plans, restaurant recommendations, attraction descriptions, and local tips
Note: Itinara AI generates text-based travel content only. We do not generate, process, or store images, audio, or video content.
2. Content Standards and Prohibited Categories
Itinara AI expressly prohibits using the Service to generate the following six categories of content:
- Pornographic / NSFW content
- Violent / gore content
- Hate speech
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — including any content sexualizing minors
- Deepfakes / impersonation of real individuals (unauthorized AI-synthesized audio, video, or images impersonating real people)
- Content infringing copyright or trademarks
2.1 Zero Tolerance — Immediate Action
The following content categories result in immediate action upon detection, and are reported to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC):
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors
- Content promoting or assisting terrorism, extremism, or mass violence
- Instructions for manufacturing weapons of mass destruction
- Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred
- Content that sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way
2.2 General Prohibited Conduct
- Generating or spreading misinformation or rumors
- Impersonating real individuals, brands, or organizations through AI-generated content
- Infringing intellectual property, portrait rights, or privacy rights
- Using the Service to generate content for illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purposes
- Mass-generating spam or repetitive content
- Using jailbreak prompts or attempts to bypass platform safety mechanisms
- Attempting to extract or misuse proprietary travel data or AI model outputs
3. Content Moderation Mechanism
The platform employs a multi-layer moderation system: automated review + human review + periodic audits.
3.1 Automated Review (Real-Time)
All user inputs and AI-generated content are scanned in real-time by safety filters.
- Input Filtering: Keyword, semantic, and intent analysis of user prompts to detect prohibited content requests
- Output Filtering: Real-time safety assessment of AI-generated text content
- Usage Pattern Analysis: Monitoring for anomalous behavior, excessive API calls, or potential abuse
- Safety Measures: Content filtering systems to prevent generation of prohibited content types
- Moderation API: We use a combination of OpenAI Moderation API and custom keyword filtering for content safety checks
3.2 Human Review
- Automatically flagged content enters a human review queue
- User-reported content is reviewed by our Trust & Safety team
- Review team operates Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 Pacific Time; urgent reports (L1) are handled within 2 hours
- All reviewers complete mandatory content safety training and sign confidentiality agreements
3.3 Periodic Audits
- Random sampling review conducted monthly
- Automated moderation system accuracy is regularly evaluated and optimized
- Third-party independent audits are conducted annually (when applicable)

4. Reporting Mechanism

- Content or behavior that violates this Policy
- Content involving child safety, terrorism, or other serious violations
- Discovery of AI impersonation or content infringing your rights
- Any other situation you believe violates platform standards
4.2 Reporting Principles
- Confidentiality: Reporter identity is strictly protected
- Neutrality: All reports undergo independent, objective review
- Anti-Abuse: Malicious or false reports are logged and acted upon

8. Appeals Mechanism
If you disagree with an enforcement action, you may submit an appeal within 15 days of receiving the notification:

- Review Process: Reviewed by an independent reviewer not involved in the original decision
9. Transparency and Policy Updates
- We publish a content safety transparency report annually
- Significant changes are notified at least 15 days in advance
- Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy
